Job Summary

As a Physics Lecture Assistant at Saarland University, you will play a vital role in the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology. Your primary responsibility involves the independent preparation, development, and execution of physics demonstration experiments across a broad spectrum of topics, including mechanics, electrodynamics, optics, thermodynamics, and quantum physics. You will collaborate closely with lecturers to support diverse degree programs ranging from Physics and Quantum Engineering to Chemistry and Pharmacy. Beyond the laboratory setup, you will manage lecture hall media and technology and contribute to public relations and youth recruitment efforts. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Engineering (Physics or Electrical Engineering), Physics, or a related field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in physics or electrical engineering
  • Experience in the preparation and execution of physical experiments
  • Demonstrated ability in managing lecture hall or media technology
  • Experience in self-organization and coordinating with academic staff
