Job Summary
As a Senior SAP Expert, you will play a pivotal role in the digital modernization of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). Operating within the Enterprise Resource Planning business unit, your daily responsibilities will involve gathering complex requirements to design and integrate technical solutions into existing SAP landscapes. A significant focus of this role is the development and maintenance of generative AI solutions and data-driven applications to enhance decision-making speed and information dominance. You will act as a bridge between customer needs and technical execution, ensuring that new services align with established service architectures and portfolio management. This position is ideal for a professional with a strong background in SAP PLM and maintenance processes who wants to work on socially relevant, large-scale IT infrastructure projects. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree or equivalent training in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
Experience
- 4+ years of practical professional experience as an IT Consultant
- Several years of experience in SAP PLM functionalities and business processes for maintenance
- Deep understanding of Data Analytics, Data Engineering, and Foundation Models
- Several years of practical experience as a team member or team lead in the design and implementation of application projects, preferably in SAP implementation
