Job Summary

As a Business Integration Expert within the ERP Technical Solutions department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the digital future of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). Your daily responsibilities include performing SAP Basis activities such as installations, commissioning, and upgrades, as well as providing 2nd level support for incident and problem management. You will be responsible for monitoring complex SAP system landscapes and their interfaces, implementing changes, and administering decentralized systems using automation tools like Ansible and Avantra. This position is particularly attractive as it offers the chance to work on one of Germany's largest and most complex IT infrastructures, contributing directly to national security. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or vocational IT training; SAP Basis Administrator certification is preferred.

Experience

At least 2 years of professional experience in the ERP/SAP environment and SAP Basis operations
Professional experience in the installation and operation of HANA databases
Experience in IT Service Management according to ITIL standards
Proven experience using automation solutions such as Avantra or Ansible
Experience in 2nd level support within incident and problem management processes

Languages

German (Fluent)

Must be able to work at one of the BWI locations nationwide (e.g., Berlin, Bonn, Munich, Frankfurt); willingness to contribute to national security projects for the Bundeswehr.
