Job Summary

As a Senior IT Service Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting the digital infrastructure of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). Based in Wittmund, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of IT and telecommunications services, including the analysis and resolution of hardware and software faults across PC, telephony, LAN, and WAN environments. Your daily activities will involve performing 'Install, Move, Add, Change' (IMAC) tasks, commissioning hardware, and providing on-site user instruction. You will also participate in project rollouts, infrastructure migrations, and technical documentation within ticket systems and CMDBs.
