Job Summary

This role is part of the Municipal Crisis Management Coordination Unit (K3) for the City of Potsdam. You will be responsible for the strategic and administrative planning of crisis management, including disaster relief, civil defense, and emergency planning. Day-to-day tasks involve coordinating budget and personnel planning, developing controlling concepts, and monitoring budget execution. Additionally, you will support the team lead in organizing training exercises, developing resilience strategies for the population, and participating in administrative staff work during critical situations. This position is unique because it combines traditional financial controlling with active participation in emergency response and civil protection planning.
