Job Summary

As an Audio Visual and Media Services Technician at Leuphana University Lüneburg, you will be the primary point of contact for media technology across the university campus. Your day-to-day responsibilities include the maintenance, repair, and programming of media control systems in lecture halls and seminar rooms. You will play a critical role in event organization, providing technical support for both on-site events and digital collaboration through Zoom and Microsoft Teams. The role also involves planning and procuring new media hardware and managing network storage for video production. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Event Technology Specialist, IT System Electronician, Media Technician, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in event technology, IT system electronics, or media technology
  • Experience in the administration, programming, and maintenance of IT and media systems
  • Proven experience in technical and organizational event management
  • Experience with video conferencing hardware and software support
