Job Summary
This role is for an Administrative Officer responsible for independently managing and coordinating the Leuphana Doctoral Scholarship program within the Graduate School. The successful candidate will be instrumental in establishing the new PhD Scholarship Office starting in 2026. Day-to-day responsibilities include advising professors on allocation procedures, managing international tenders, maintaining the digital application portal and associated databases for statistical analysis, and coordinating communication between applicants, commissions, and student services. A core task is ensuring rigorous process controlling and compliance with scholarship guidelines, including liaising with the university's legal department. Key requirements include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, professional experience in academic administration, proficiency with digital tools, and strong communication skills. Fluency in German and at least Intermediate English (B2) are mandatory. This permanent, part-time position (25%, with potential for expansion) offers a chance to shape critical administrative processes at an innovative, campus-based university.
