Job Summary

This role involves providing medical-physical and technical support for the Department of Nuclear Medicine, including satellite locations. As a Medical Physics Expert, you will play a critical role in the application of ionizing radiation for patient diagnosis and therapy. Your day-to-day responsibilities include dosimetry, radiation protection calculations, treatment planning, and quality assurance for advanced imaging systems like SPECT/CT and PET/CT/MR. Additionally, you will manage IT tasks related to RIS/PACS systems and oversee radiation protection duties. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Diploma or Master's) in Medical Physics, Physics, Physical Engineering, Technical Health Care, Electrical Engineering, or a related natural science/technical field. Expert knowledge in radiation protection (Fachkunde) is preferred but can be acquired during employment.

Experience

  • Professional experience in medical physics, specifically within the field of nuclear medicine is preferred
  • Experience with hybrid imaging procedures such as PET/CT/MR and SPECT/CT
  • Practical knowledge in medical radiation protection and dosimetry
  • Experience in interdisciplinary team environments and clinical workflows
