As a Specialist for European Grid Modeling, you will play a pivotal role in the energy transition by developing and refining grid models to integrate renewable energy into the European interconnected system. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve conducting complex grid analyses, automating data processing, and developing specialized calculation tools to manage large datasets. You will collaborate closely with German and international Transmission System Operators (TSOs) and participate in cross-border working groups. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience in grid modeling and the application of network calculation software
  • Practical experience in the analysis, preparation, and evaluation of large datasets
  • Proven experience in developing and refining analytical and calculation tools
  • Experience in programming with Python and data analysis libraries
  • Experience working within national or international technical working groups
