Job Summary

As an Electrical Engineer in Asset Management, you will be responsible for the strategic, technical, and operational management of onshore and offshore high-voltage cable systems throughout their entire lifecycle. Your day-to-day activities involve defining technical specifications, developing national and international technical guidelines, and providing expert support during the procurement of cable components. You will play a critical role in the energy transition by developing methods for asset condition assessment (e.g., Health Index) and integrating technical innovations into the 50Hertz grid. This position is ideal for a technical expert who enjoys interdisciplinary collaboration and wants to work on innovative solutions for voltage stability in extra-high-voltage networks. The role offers a unique opportunity to influence asset strategies while working alongside a team of specialized professionals in a permanent, full-time capacity.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the energy sector, specifically within high-voltage cable technology
  • Experience in the production, quality assurance, or procurement of cable systems
  • Experience in designing cable systems and evaluating current technology trends
  • Experience in developing asset strategies and technical guidelines
  • Experience in process clarification and interface management
