Job Summary

As a Senior SOAR Software Engineer within the Security Operations Center (SOC), you will play a pivotal role in automating and integrating security systems to enhance the organization's defensive posture. Your daily responsibilities include developing automations via APIs, integrating SOC systems with ticketing and log sources, and providing expert consultancy to other teams on integration solutions. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of SOC systems, including operation, maintenance, monitoring, and conducting Proof of Concepts for new platform technologies. This role is unique for its blend of classical system administration and modern software development within a large-scale public sector environment. You will work in a motivated team that manages IT security for major pension insurance carriers, offering a high degree of creative freedom and the opportunity to work predominantly from home while contributing to critical national infrastructure security.
