Job Summary

As a Working Student in Detection Engineering at Schwarz Digits, you will play a vital role in securing the digital infrastructure for major European retail brands like Lidl and Kaufland. Operating within the Cyber Defence Center, your day-to-day activities involve supporting the Research, Automation, and Development teams to refine security strategies. You will actively contribute to data engineering by optimizing data processing pipelines and expanding the existing database that fuels threat detection. A significant part of the role involves maintaining and evolving detection mechanisms to identify emerging cyber threats. Required Skills

Education

Currently enrolled student in (Business) Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable degree program.

Experience

  • Initial professional experience or academic background in Cybersecurity and security-relevant data
  • Previous exposure to data administration or similar technical environments
  • Experience working in a team-oriented and self-responsible manner
  • Proven ability in analytical problem solving and communication
