Job Summary

As the Head of IT Operations & Transformation, you will serve as the strategic and operational leader for the Education Campus IT department within Schwarz Digits. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve leading a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the high availability of critical applications, and maintaining strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs). You will act as a vital bridge between high-level strategy and daily operations, modernizing business processes through automation and contemporary deployment methods. This role is unique because it combines the agility of a digital-first environment with the stability of the Schwarz Group (Lidl, Kaufland). You will collaborate closely with campus institutions and external partners to turn visionary IT concepts into scalable business models, driving technological sovereignty and digital transformation in a dynamic, high-impact educational environment.
