Job Summary
As a Cloud Compliance & Privacy Specialist for the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA), you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between technical cloud innovation and legal data protection requirements. Operating out of Wiesbaden or Berlin, your daily responsibilities will involve analyzing legal frameworks for police and non-police information processing, clarifying data protection requirements for various data scenarios, and negotiating complex data processing agreements. You will act as a key advisor for both internal and external contractual harmonizations. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor or Diploma) in a STEM field with an IT component; alternatively, a completed vocational training with significant professional IT experience.
Experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of data protection law under GDPR and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG)
- Professional experience with cloud services and the associated data protection requirements
- Experience with data protection requirements for the use of Artificial Intelligence in processing personal data
- Professional experience in an IT-related field (3-6 years depending on educational background)
- Experience in negotiating and preparing contractual agreements for data processing

- Must be willing to undergo security vetting as required by the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA). Willingness for flexible working hours to handle time-critical contractual measures. Position is limited to a duration of 3 years. Locations: Wiesbaden or Berlin.
