Job Summary
As a Principal Technology Manager, you will serve as a critical interface within the Vendor Run Governance team, overseeing a global Mainframe Tower infrastructure (including Mainframe, NonStop, and AS400). You will act as the technical bridge between internal application areas and external service providers like Kyndryl, ensuring stable production environments and driving technical software release management. Your day-to-day involves steering the technology roadmap, participating in Technical Design Authority forums, and managing complex software updates. You will also lead transformation projects, define best practices for performance monitoring, and handle internal and external audit requirements. This role is ideal for a seasoned IT leader who enjoys managing high-stakes vendor relationships and technical infrastructure at a global scale. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Computer Science from a recognized college or university, or an equivalent professional qualification.
Experience
- Extensive professional IT experience in large enterprise environments, specifically within managed production environments.
- Proven leadership experience in a global corporate environment.
- Demonstrated experience in managing relationships across different departments, companies, and cultures.
- Practical experience with MITSA out-sourced production environments.
- Experience in driving analysis and planning for technical transformation projects.
