Job Summary

This role at the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) involves protecting Germany's critical infrastructure (KRITIS) within the finance, insurance, water, and telecommunications sectors. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent (FH-Diplom) in Computer Science, IT Security, Physics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Business Informatics, or a related IT-focused field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT security dependencies and current threat landscapes specifically related to critical infrastructures
  • Experience in Business Continuity Management (BCM) and crisis prevention/management
  • Practical experience in the KRITIS environment (e.g., working for an operator, association, or regulatory authority) is highly preferred
  • Experience in evaluating security standards and audit documentation
