Job Summary

As a Technical Cyber Defense Analyst for Germany's domestic intelligence service (BfV), you will play a critical role in protecting national security by investigating and analyzing cyberattacks. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the analysis of metadata and complex patterns within large datasets, utilizing advanced tools and artificial intelligence to enhance evaluation methods. You will be responsible for stakeholder management, collaborating with national and international authorities, NGOs, and monitoring social media trends. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable STEM field with an IT focus.

Experience

  • Professional experience in cyber defense or a related technical field
  • Experience in analyzing and visualizing large datasets (Big Data)
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience if applying without a qualifying degree
  • Experience in presenting technical topics to diverse audiences is preferred
