Job Summary

This role involves working within the Serology, Virology, and PCR department at the State Office for Agriculture, Food Safety, and Fisheries in Rostock. The successful candidate will perform molecular biological examinations on animal materials, food, and seed samples using advanced techniques such as PCR, real-time PCR, digital PCR, and DNA sequence analysis. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating molecular biological results, recording data in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), and assisting in the establishment of new testing procedures. Additionally, you will be responsible for instructing trainees and interns.
