Job Summary

This role involves essential support work within the laboratory service area, focusing heavily on decontamination, cleaning, sterilization, and waste disposal for the State Office for Agriculture, Food Safety, and Fisheries in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The successful candidate will be responsible for the mechanical and manual cleaning of lab glassware, transport containers, and sampling equipment, as well as the chemical disinfection and steam sterilization of infectious lab waste and materials prior to disposal. Key duties also include preparing media and materials for sterilization, documentation, and preparing items for shipment to other locations. Candidates must possess proven professional experience in cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, or disposal, along with a high degree of diligence, physical fitness (for lifting), and strong teamwork skills.
