Job Summary

This permanent, full-time role at the Brandenburg State Forest Enterprise (LFB) in Eberswalde involves monitoring and researching the effects of pollutants on forest ecosystems. As a Scientific Researcher, you will manage monitoring networks (Level-II program), analyze environmental data using open-source technologies, and model forest nutrient cycles, water balances, and carbon sequestration. You will play a key role in national and international expert groups, such as ICP-Forests, and translate complex data into reports and publications that influence forest and environmental policy at state, federal, and EU levels.
