Job Summary

This part-time (75%) Research Associate position at the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg offers a three-year opportunity to conduct advanced research in the field of physics. The successful candidate will focus on investigating the transport properties of chiral molecules on magnetic surfaces. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing scanning probe analysis using conductive AFM, Kelvin probes, and optical near-field microscopy, as well as designing nanoscale electronic device structures. You will also utilize Small Angle X-Ray Scattering and IR spectroscopy for molecular layer structuring, followed by rigorous data analysis and publication of results. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Master's or equivalent) in Physics or a comparable field of study.
