Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg involves the technical management and support of the speech science recording studio, phonetic laboratories, and specialized research collections. The successful candidate will be responsible for the selection, procurement, and maintenance of audio, video, measurement, and computer technology used for linguistic analysis. Day-to-day tasks include recording, editing, and archiving signal data for teaching and research, as well as the digitization and restoration of historical sound carriers. A unique aspect of this role is providing direct technical consultancy to students, doctoral candidates, and professors during third-party funded projects.
