Job Summary
This full-time, permanent role at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (MLU) focuses on the digital transformation of student administration. You will be responsible for the independent management and further development of IT-supported processes within the Admissions Office, specifically utilizing Campus Management software (HIS e.G.) and external web applications like Hochschulstart and uni-assist. Day-to-day tasks include processing enrollment applications, conducting admission procedures, and generating statistical evaluations. The position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a background in public administration who enjoys optimizing user-friendly digital processes. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree (University or University of Applied Sciences), preferably in Public Administration; or completed vocational training as a Management Assistant in Public Administration (Verwaltungsfachangestellte/r).
Experience
- 1+ year of professional experience in university or public administration for candidates with a Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of professional experience in university or public administration for candidates with vocational administrative training
- 1+ year of professional experience specifically in the application or development of IT-supported administrative processes
- Professional experience in processing admissions and enrollment applications
- Experience in project-based working environments
