Job Summary

This role involves acting as a client representative and project manager for the Office of Property and Building Management in Halle (Saale). You will be responsible for the coordination, inspection, and management of construction projects involving electrical, telecommunications, and IT infrastructure for the state of Saxony-Anhalt. Key duties include BIM management, conducting building assessments, creating cost forecasts, and managing procurement processes according to VOB and VgV regulations. You will oversee external contractors, manage project budgets and schedules, and ensure compliance with sustainability standards (BNB). This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys a mix of technical oversight and administrative project leadership. The role offers the stability of a public service contract (TV-L E11) and the opportunity to work on significant public infrastructure projects, including the future implementation of your own planning services using BIM methodologies.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or Diploma (FH) in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Automation Technology, or Energy and Building Systems Engineering.

Experience

  • Professional experience in planning and construction management within public administration, construction companies, or planning offices is preferred
  • Experience in project management and coordination of multiple project participants
  • Experience in handling industry-standard software and standard PC applications
  • Experience in cost control, scheduling, and payment plan monitoring for construction projects

Additional

  • Must be currently employed on an indefinite basis within the direct state administration of Saxony-Anhalt. Requires readiness to undergo a security clearance (Ü2) according to SÜG-LSA. Possession of a valid driver's license and willingness to drive service vehicles is required.
