Job Summary
This full-time, permanent position based in Magdeburg involves managing construction budgets for federal and third-party projects within the Saxony-Anhalt Office for Property and Building Management. You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of budget titles, ensuring compliance with budgetary regulations, and monitoring the use of expenditure funds. Key tasks include preparing monthly and annual financial statements, maintaining master data across various systems like SAP and O-Xilis, and managing security deposits and tax exemption certificates. The role offers a high degree of responsibility as you will also support audits by the Federal Court of Auditors and handle complex budgetary inquiries. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Public Administration Specialist (Verwaltungsfachangestellte/r) or a commercial degree.
Experience
- Professional experience in cameralistic or commercial accounting is preferred
- Experience in managing construction budgets and public sector financial titles
- Proven experience in preparing monthly and annual financial statements
- Practical experience using SAP-FI and industry-specific budgetary software
- Experience in handling administrative documentation, including security deposits and tax certificates

- Valid driver's license for service vehicles and willingness to travel for business are required. Applicants from outside the EU must provide a valid residence and work permit. Foreign educational qualifications must include proof of equivalence to German standards.
