Job Summary
This permanent role within the Saxony-Anhalt State Administration involves acting as a client representative and project manager for electrical, telecommunications, and IT infrastructure projects. Based in Halle (Saale), you will oversee the entire project lifecycle—from initial cost estimation and procurement to final acceptance—ensuring compliance with German building regulations (HOAI, VOB). A key aspect of this position is managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) at the sub-sector level and coordinating with external engineering firms and contractors. You will be responsible for budget control, scheduling, and quality management, including sustainability certifications. This position is ideal for professionals seeking a stable public service role with significant responsibility in large-scale state construction projects and modern digital planning methods.
Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor or Diploma) in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Automation Technology, or Energy and Building Technology.
Experience
- Professional experience in planning and construction management within public administration, construction operations, or engineering firms is preferred
- Experience in project leadership and coordination of multiple project stakeholders
- Experience in preparing and executing procurement procedures according to German regulations (VOB, VgV, UVgO)
- Experience in creating technical documentation and cost-benefit analyses

- Must be currently employed on a permanent basis within the Saxony-Anhalt state administration. Requires readiness to undergo a Level 2 security clearance (Ü2) according to SÜG-LSA. Possession of a valid driver's license is required. Location: Halle (Saale).
