As an IT Security Consultant for the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA), you will play a vital role in combating cybercrime at both national and international levels. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Professional experience in applying regulatory IT security requirements (e.g., BSI-Grundschutz or NIS-2)
  • Experience in the security architecture of common operating systems including Linux, MacOS, and Windows
  • Experience with heterogeneous operating system environments and mobile platforms
  • Proven experience in network technologies, virtualization, and storage solutions

  • Must be willing to undergo an extended security clearance (SÜG § 9). The role is based in Germany and requires a high degree of creativity, team orientation, and independent working style. Applicants must pass a computer-based psychodiagnostic test and a structured interview.
