As an IT System Administrator for the Rhineland-Palatinate State Forestry Office, you will play a pivotal role in managing and securing the digital infrastructure of Germany's most forested state. Based in Emmelshausen, your daily responsibilities include leading IT infrastructure projects, designing central and decentralized network architectures across approximately 50 locations, and administering technical components such as firewalls, switches, and access points. You will work closely with the Information Security Officer to ensure network security following BSI standards and provide second-level support.
