As the Head of Central Testing and Technical Services, you will take on a pivotal leadership role overseeing both personnel and technical operations within the core IT system of the German Federal Pension Insurance (DRV). Your daily responsibilities include coordinating high-level service requirements for the IT infrastructure, managing proactive personnel development, and driving complex change management processes. You will be instrumental in modernizing the core system (rvEvolution) while ensuring legal compliance and technical excellence. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed university education (Master's degree or University Diploma) in Economics, Administrative Sciences, or Information Technology.

Experience

  • Many years of professional experience in IT or digitalization management (private sector, public sector, or consulting)
  • Several years of current experience in technical and disciplinary leadership of teams or project groups
  • Proven experience in managing complex IT landscapes and software development lifecycles
  • Experience in implementing and sustaining complex organizational change processes

  • Willingness to undertake regular multi-day business trips is required. Candidates must pass a security clearance check in accordance with Section 9 of the Security Check Act (SÜG). Location options are Berlin or Würzburg.
