This role serves as the central point of contact for all IT Change and Release Management matters within the core IT system of the German Pension Insurance (DRV). You will be responsible for both the strategic and operational expansion of change processes, ensuring that software updates are planned, controlled, and managed effectively. Day-to-day duties include evaluating and approving change requests, ensuring delivery completeness of development units, and coordinating technical requirements with stakeholders. You will maintain audit-proof documentation and monitor the central testing phases. This position is unique as it contributes to the development of a modern, future-oriented core system (rvEvolution) while offering the stability of a public service contract. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor, Diploma) in Economics, Administrative Science, or a technical field; or an equivalent qualification (e.g., Fachwirt); or completed vocational training in a technical, economic, or IT field.

Experience

  • Several years of practical professional experience in IT Service Management, specifically in Change or Release Management
  • Professional experience in related roles such as IT Project Management or IT Consulting
  • Proven experience working in digital environments
  • Experience with release management tools and structured problem-solving
