Job Summary
This role involves leading the digital transformation within the Social Affairs Department of the Ulm city administration. As a Coordinator, you will spearhead a five-year project focused on the strategic development of digital specialized procedures and the introduction of electronic case files starting in 2026. Your daily activities will include acting as a vital interface between social departments, central IT, and external service providers to ensure efficient, law-compliant, and user-friendly digital processes. You will be responsible for creating conceptual frameworks, documentation, and decision templates while networking with other youth and social welfare offices to integrate innovations like AI applications. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor's or higher) in Public Management, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Digital Administration/E-Government, Information Management, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in municipal administration or public sector management is preferred
- Experience in project management or the implementation of document management systems and specialized software
- Proven experience in process management and the design of efficient administrative workflows
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating complex projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders

- Part-time position (75% workload). Fixed-term contract for 5 years. Location: Ulm, Germany. Requires the ability to work within the TVöD Entgeltgruppe 11 framework.
