Job Summary

As an Onshore Sub-Project Manager, you will lead an interdisciplinary engineering team responsible for the planning and implementation of critical technical sub-segments, including auxiliary power supplies, building and automation technology, cabling, and cooling systems. Operating within HVDC or FACTS projects, you will oversee the entire technical execution to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and budgets. Your day-to-day involves prioritizing technical work packages, making key engineering decisions, and coordinating interfaces between various internal and external stakeholders. This role is highly impactful as it sits at the heart of the energy transition, requiring you to support claim, contract, and risk management while providing technical input for new bids. It offers a unique opportunity to work on large-scale international energy infrastructure projects within a leading global energy technology firm that prioritizes decarbonization and innovative grid solutions.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Many years of professional experience in engineering and sub-project management for large-scale projects
  • Extensive experience in power generation, transmission, and distribution sectors
  • Proven track record in disciplinary leadership of interdisciplinary engineering teams
  • Demonstrated experience in bid processes, including concept development and calculation inputs
  • Experience in coordinating with customers, consultants, and subcontractors
