This role involves working within a high-tech environment in Dresden, specifically for a renowned company in the semiconductor and chip industry. As an Industrial Mechanic, your day-to-day responsibilities will center on the maintenance and repair of complex production equipment. This includes troubleshooting electrical, electronic, and mechanical assemblies, as well as performing preventive maintenance to ensure operational efficiency. You will also be involved in the installation of new systems and the modification of existing automation technology. The position is particularly attractive due to its permanent contract, performance-based pay above standard rates, and a unique 'rolling week' shift pattern (6 days on, 4 days off) that offers predictable downtime. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, Industrial Mechanic, or a comparable technical qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in maintenance or industrial mechanics within a technical environment
  • Experience in fault localization and troubleshooting of electronic and mechanical components
  • Experience or willingness to work in a cleanroom environment
  • Experience in the installation and modification of automation systems
