Job Summary
This role involves working within a high-tech semiconductor manufacturing environment in Dresden, focusing on the maintenance and repair of complex production equipment. As an Industrial Mechanic, you will be responsible for the day-to-day localization and troubleshooting of faults across electrical, electronic, and mechanical assemblies. Your duties include performing preventive maintenance, installing new systems, and supporting the modification of existing automation technology. This position is particularly attractive due to its permanent contract status, performance-based bonuses, and a structured shift model (6 days on, 4 days off) that provides predictable downtime. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, Industrial Mechanic, or a comparable technical qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in maintenance and repair within an industrial or high-tech setting
- Experience in identifying and resolving faults in electrical, electronic, and mechanical components
- Practical experience in the installation and modification of technical equipment
- Experience or willingness to work in a cleanroom environment
Languages
Additional
- Must be willing to work in a continuous shift system (6 days on, 4 days off). Must be willing to undergo further training to become a qualified electrician (Elektrofachkraft). Work is performed in a cleanroom environment.
