Job Summary

This role is central to shaping the future of the German energy transition by designing efficient and pragmatic capacity markets. As a specialist, you will work within a dedicated team to develop 50Hertz's strategic positioning on market design, ensuring that regulatory frameworks support a sustainable energy landscape. Your day-to-day involves coordinating with internal departments and the wider Elia Group, collaborating with other German Transmission System Operators (TSOs), and representing company interests to federal ministries (BMWK) and the regulatory authority (BNetzA). You will bridge the gap between theoretical market design and operational implementation, backed by quantitative analysis.
