Job Summary
This is a leadership role within a maximum-care university hospital environment, where you will lead and manage a team of 13 employees in the electrical engineering department. Day-to-day, you will be responsible for the independent operation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems, including medium and low voltage, lightning protection, and safety power generation systems. You will act as a key consultant for construction projects, participating in site inspections and final acceptances, while also drafting service specifications for maintenance contracts and conducting risk assessments. This position is particularly attractive for experienced engineers seeking a permanent, high-responsibility role that combines technical expertise with disciplinary leadership. Required Skills
Education
Completed engineering degree (Bachelor) or Master/Foreman (Meister) qualification in Electrical Engineering.
Experience
- Many years of professional experience in electrical engineering with comprehensive technical knowledge
- Practical experience in medium and low voltage systems, lightning protection, and control/regulation technology
- Experience in hospital-specific technology including elevator and medical notification systems
- Experience with legal requirements for the inspection of systems requiring monitoring
- Disciplinary and technical leadership experience of personnel
- Professional experience in creating service specifications and maintenance contracts

Additional
- Switching authorization up to 10 kV is desirable or requires readiness to acquire it. The workplace is not barrier-free. Full-time position (38.5 hours/week) based in Magdeburg.
