Job Summary

This role involves acting as a Tax Specialist within the Finance and Controlling division of the University Hospital Magdeburg, focusing on optimizing tax processes and ensuring compliance. Key daily tasks include continuously improving tax procedures, evaluating and communicating tax-related legal matters to relevant departments, assisting with tax operations, and coordinating all ongoing tax reports and declarations. A crucial component of the job is the continued development of the Tax Compliance Management System (TCMS) for the institution and supporting external tax audits. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Taxation, Tax Law, or Accounting, possesses strong analytical skills, proficiency in SAP FI and MS Office, and demonstrates excellent communication and negotiation abilities to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external tax consultants, and tax authorities.
