Job Summary
This part-time position (15 hours per week) within the Finance Department of the City of Brühl offers a unique opportunity to manage tax compliance for a public sector employer. You will be responsible for preparing tax returns and declarations, specifically focusing on VAT and corporate tax obligations. A key part of your role involves providing internal consultancy to various departments regarding tax matters, particularly in relation to § 2b UStG, and acting as the primary point of contact for tax authorities during audits. You will also be instrumental in the ongoing development of the city's internal Tax Compliance Management System (TCMS). Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (Diploma/Bachelor/Master) with a focus on Taxes or Finance.
Experience
- Professional experience in tax law, specifically VAT and corporate tax
- Experience in preparing tax returns and declarations
- Experience in developing or maintaining Tax Compliance Management Systems (TCMS)
- Experience in dealing with tax authorities and external auditors
- Experience with ELSTER and DATEV software is highly desirable
