Job Summary
This role involves taking on project management responsibilities for sewer and road construction measures on behalf of the City of Brühl. As the representative of the building owner, you will steer and coordinate projects from the initial planning phases through to final completion. Key tasks include managing external engineering firms according to HOAI performance phases, reviewing technical designs, managing costs, and ensuring administrative compliance. You will serve as a central point of contact for specialized departments, utility providers, and funding agencies, while also supporting public relations and citizen participation initiatives. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Civil Engineering (Diploma, Master, or Bachelor), preferably specializing in Urban Water Management, Road Construction, or Construction Operations.
Experience
- Professional experience in civil engineering or construction project management is desirable
- Experience in managing external engineering offices and HOAI performance phases
- Experience in technical and administrative project settlement
- Experience in public relations or citizen participation is an advantage
Languages
Additional
- Valid Class B driver's license is desirable. Must have the ability to work flexible hours, including occasional afternoons and evenings. For foreign degrees, proof of equivalence (ZAB) is required.
