Job Summary

This role involves actively shaping and managing the statewide information security process for the Lower Saxony State Police. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling security measures to ensure a sustainable and reliable IT infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include developing and establishing uniform security standards, creating and updating information security guidelines, and analyzing significant security incidents across various police authorities. You will also monitor compliance with IT security norms and BSI IT-Grundschutz standards. Required Skills

Education

University degree in IT Management, Media Informatics, Administrative Informatics, Business Administration (with focus on Process Management or Digital Administration and Cyber Security), or a Bachelor Professional in Information and Communication Technology/Computer Science (DQR/EQR Level 6).

Experience

  • Professional experience in the field of computer science and/or information security
  • Experience in implementing IT security measures and standards
  • Proven experience in coordinating and steering complex IT processes
  • Experience in analyzing security-relevant incidents and developing prevention strategies
