Job Summary

This role involves the administration, configuration, and maintenance of critical IT systems within the Control Center Program for the Lower Saxony Police. You will be responsible for ensuring the operational readiness of emergency dispatch systems through 2nd-level support, coordinating with 1st and 3rd-level support teams, and performing in-depth error analysis and monitoring. Beyond daily operations, you will contribute to IT architecture planning, system optimization, and project work for emergency response and communication systems. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Administrative Informatics, or a related field; OR a completed vocational IT training (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration/Application Development).

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT systems administration and support
  • 2 years of professional IT experience required if applying with a vocational qualification
  • 4 years of professional IT experience required if applying without a formal degree or vocational certificate
  • Experience in error analysis, debugging, and system monitoring
  • Experience in technical documentation and IT concept creation
