Job Summary

This role involves actively shaping the expansion and reliable operation of the Digital Radio Network (BOS-Digitalfunk) in Lower Saxony, making a vital contribution to public safety. Day-to-day responsibilities include ensuring the long-term operational readiness of digital radio sites, planning and coordinating construction projects for integrating backup power systems into new and existing sites, and managing site acquisition through contract negotiations. The officer will also plan and coordinate the construction of new sites and modifications to existing ones, evaluate planning documents and structural analyses, and participate in tendering and awarding construction contracts. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electrical Technology, a valid Class B driver's license, and fluency in German, with a willingness to undergo an enhanced security clearance (SÜ 2).
