Job Summary

As the Team Lead for IT Product Engineering, you will serve as a strategic business partner at the intersection of agility and security within the Schwarz Digits ecosystem. You will act as the central point of contact for internal departments, identifying needs for Social Media and Communication applications (primarily SaaS) and transforming them into future-proof IT solutions. Your day-to-day involves managing the product roadmap, evaluating technological trends, and leading a high-performance team through both disciplinary and functional guidance. You will be responsible for integrating new team members, fostering a culture of knowledge transfer, and ensuring that all IT solutions provide direct business value. This role is unique for its influence on the digital infrastructure of major European retail brands like Lidl and Kaufland, offering a stable corporate foundation combined with the creative freedom of a digital transformation unit. You will navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, including IT architecture and information security, to deliver scalable communication tools.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in (Business) Informatics, Business Administration with an IT focus, or a comparable qualification with high IT affinity.

Experience

  • Proven leadership experience required, specifically as an empathetic coach capable of developing young talent.
  • Several years of professional experience in IT consulting.
  • Extensive experience in 'Make, Buy, and Use' application strategies.
  • Professional experience in managing IT-supported business processes.
  • Experience in managing complex, unstructured projects and translating them into clear processes.
