Job Summary

As an Energy Management Specialist for a renowned distribution system operator in Essen, you will play a pivotal role in the energy transition. Your daily responsibilities involve developing technical solutions for connecting new customer installations to the power grid, ranging from large-scale industrial consumers and e-vehicle charging infrastructure to renewable energy sources like wind and solar plants. You will oversee the entire process lifecycle, from initial technical conception and metering system design to the finalization of grid connection and usage contracts. Beyond technical design, you will handle complex energy industry inquiries regarding Redispatch 2.0 and feed-in tariffs while participating in cross-organizational projects to implement new legal and technical requirements. This position is particularly attractive due to its 38-hour work week, over-tariff vacation days, and a dedicated budget for home office equipment, all while working within a stable and critical infrastructure sector.
