Job Summary
This role involves the technical and administrative management of building maintenance and facility systems at the Max Rubner-Institut (MRI) in Kiel. As a key member of the central services department, you will be responsible for diagnosing faults in technical systems, supervising external contractors, and coordinating construction and renovation projects across multiple sites including Kiel, Schädtbek, and Hamburg. Your daily tasks will range from monitoring maintenance contracts and preparing tenders to managing the vehicle fleet and supporting occupational safety measures. Required Skills
Education

- Professional experience in building technology, facility management, or property administration
- Experience in diagnosing technical faults and monitoring repair work by external service providers
- Experience in coordinating construction or renovation measures within commercial or public properties
- Experience in administrative tasks such as tender preparation and contract monitoring
- Desirable: Experience within the German public service (federal administration)
