Job Summary

This role is for an IT Security Specialist to join an exciting, long-term project (up to 5 years) in IT Security Operations in Bonn, Germany. The specialist will be responsible for building and operating SIEM solutions and vulnerability scanners within the Security Operations Center (SOC). Key responsibilities include identifying and remediating vulnerabilities, implementing security policies, configuring sensors and thresholds, and analyzing large volumes of security data and logs. The position also involves contributing to the development of SOC tools and processes, collaborating closely with client departments, and assisting in the creation and maintenance of information security concepts. Candidates should have a strong background in IT security or network technology, experience with SIEM systems and vulnerability scanners, and knowledge of BSI Basic Protection and ISO 27001.
