Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Electrical Engineer passionate about instrumentation, control, and electrical engineering, working within an international project environment in Recklinghausen. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating technical specifications for instruments, evaluating supplier proposals and documentation, and collaborating closely with project management, construction, and procurement to ensure contractual compliance and correct interfaces. The engineer will also be responsible for generating and maintaining technical documents like functional and control diagrams, overseeing components and systems, and participating in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs). The ideal candidate possesses a university degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, or Control Engineering, relevant experience in Basic Engineering, SIL assessments, and control systems, along with strong German and English language skills.
