Job Summary

The Institute for Federal Real Estate (BImA) is seeking an Administrative Officer to join their NATO Pipeline Management team in Trier. In this role, you will be responsible for the legal and administrative security of the long-distance pipeline system that supplies fuel to military tank farms and airfields across Germany. Your day-to-day duties involve negotiating with landowners, managing usage agreements, and handling the legal securing of pipeline rights. You will also monitor compliance with contract terms, assist with route changes, and oversee construction or renovation measures using GIS tools. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of real estate law and national security infrastructure. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/Diploma) in Public Administration, Law, Economics, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification such as a certified Business Specialist (Fachwirt). For civil servants: Qualification for the higher non-technical administrative service.

Experience

  • Professional experience in civil law and land registry law
  • Practical experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is preferred
  • Experience in negotiating and concluding usage agreements or administrative contracts
  • Proven ability to handle complex legal and administrative matters independently
  • Experience in public administration or real estate management
