Job Summary

As a Systems Architect for Ground Systems and Networks, you will lead the development of complex electronic, communication, and IT systems within the military defense sector. Your daily responsibilities involve designing robust network architectures and security concepts for classified data, selecting and configuring specialized system hardware, and hardening IT components against external threats. You will be responsible for creating comprehensive system concepts that align with strict regulatory standards and quality requirements. Beyond design, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of the project, including planning and executing integration tests, system inspections, and technical approvals. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-stakes international projects where you will coordinate with subcontractors and ensure the seamless integration of hardened computing and communication technology. It is an ideal position for a technical expert who enjoys bridging the gap between high-level architectural planning and hands-on technical implementation in a security-critical environment.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Master or Diploma in Engineering) in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Communication Systems, Information Technology, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Several years of professional and project experience in systems architecture or network design
  • Extensive experience in the conception of networks and configuration of network components
  • Proven experience in IT security strategies and handling classified data environments
  • Experience with hardened computer technology, data storage, and encryption systems
