Job Summary

This role involves supporting the Fraunhofer Research Group for Particle Technologies, Raw Material Innovation, and Resource Efficiency within the Faculty of Process Engineering. You will manage the day-to-day operations of the mechanical process engineering laboratories, focusing on the preparation, execution, and evaluation of experiments involving crushing, separation, mixing, and granulation machinery. A key part of your responsibility includes maintaining laboratory equipment and providing practical guidance to students during internships and thesis projects. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys a mix of technical maintenance, hands-on research support, and educational mentorship. Required Skills

Education

State-certified Master (Meister) or State-certified Technician in Chemistry, Process Engineering, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in laboratory or technical center operations
  • Practical experience in process engineering and/or particle technology
  • Experience in the maintenance and care of laboratory equipment
  • Experience in guiding or instructing students in a practical laboratory setting
